Why Mindfulness

We live most of our lives on automatic pilot, multi-tasking without paying attention to what we are doing. Our busy day-to-day routine can make us stressed, and we are very often not "present" in the here and now. We miss out on many moments of our life. And we sometimes react automatically, rather than choosing more healthy ways to respond.

In mindfulness, we practice being more aware and present in a gentle and accepting way.

I teach an eight week Mindful Based Stress Reduction course. Other options include individual sessions, mindfulness for couples, and online courses.  Each week we focus on different mindful meditation practices with explanations and guiding, which help in reducing stress, and improving concentration, mood, emotional regulation, pain management and well- being.

About Me

In addition to being a mindful-based meditation instructor (MBSR), I'm a psychotherapist specializing in anxiety disorders, life crises, adjustment disorders, depression, and PTSD. Sometimes seeking help from a professional is the best way to put things into perspective. My practice is  in Jerusalem and Ma'ale Adumim.  I have over 30 years of professional experience in the mental health field. I have lived in Israel for 35 years and I am bilingual. I’m happy to guide you through all of life’s challenges with the attention and care you deserve.

Testimonials

The course gave me so many tools that I can take with me further down the road. The long lesson was wonderful. I learned that I can be an island of calm, even when there is a storm around me. Thank you for everything you have given me.
